Galvanized wire can be
divided into electro galvanized steel wire and
hot-dipped galvanized steel wire according to difference
of zinc coating process. Galvanized steel wire, also
known as galvanized iron wire, finds most uses in
binding of construction materials or weaving of
galvanized wire mesh products.
Hot dipped galvanized steel
wire is made of carbon steel zinc plated.
Materials: Carbon steel wire, mild steel wire.
Wire diameter: BWG8# to BWG36#.
Packing: In coils or spools. Single coil package can be
as small as 10 kg and up to maximum 1000 kg per coil.
Advantages: Excellent flexibility and softness. The zinc
coating can be 100g/m2, 200g/m2 and 300g/m2.
A. Seawater corrosion
resistance alloy coated steel wire: 0.13-6.0mm
Standard: Q/JGS001-2001
B. Galvanized low carbon steel wire for armoring cable:
0.13-6mm Standard: GB/T 3082-84
C. Galvanized steel wire for steel core stranded
wire:0.13-3.8mm Standard: GB/T 3428-97
D. Galvanized steel wire for stranded wire:0.13-5.5mm
Standard: IEC888-(1987)
E. Universal low carbons steel wire:0.13-6.0mm Standard:
GB/T 343-1994
Electro galvanized wire is
made by means of wire drawing followed by heat treatment
and electro galvanizing.
Materials: Carbon steel wire, mild steel wire.
Wire diameter: BWG5# to BWG38#.
Packing: In coils or spools. Single coil package can be
as small as 10 kg and up to maximum 1000 kg per coil.
Advantages: Thick zinc coating, good corrosion
resistance, firm zinc coating, etc.
Applications: This kind of industrial wire is mainly
used in construction, making of wire nails and wire
ropes, express way fencing, binding of flowers and wire
mesh weaving. |
